MP David Drew will be hosting a coffee morning for his constituents to talk about any issues.

The MP regularly hosts Cafe Politics events and on Monday, June 3 he will be in The Socialight Coffee Bar on Stroud High Street from 9.30am to 10.30am.

“It’s an opportunity for me to listen to constituents’ concerns and share updates on my work in parliament," Mr Drew said.

"I’ve no doubt there will be lots to talk about on Monday, whether that’s schools, accessing services, Brexit or action on climate change.”

The event will also be an opportunity to mark the second anniversary of David Drew’s re-election as Stroud’s Labour MP.

“It’s been a full and eventful two years in parliament and in the constituency which has passed quickly but, as ever, it remains an immense privilege to represent the people of Stroud constituency,” he said.

Mr Drew, who is also Shadow Minister for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has held a regular programme of Café Politics and Pub Politics events across the constituency which aim to be a chance for people to discuss politics and specific issues in a relaxed informal setting.

All are welcome at The Socialight Coffee Bar, 62 High Street, Stroud from 9.30am to 10.30am on Monday 3 June.
