A THORNBURY coffee and gift shop has won a national award.
High Street shop Papilio at Heritage picked up a prize at the Greats Gift Retail Awards.
Shop owner, Tabi Marsh said “To be honest we were delighted to be a finalist.
“We were in the non-specialist gift shop category up against some great shops, including the Oliver Bonas chain. Once the announcement was made it was all bit of blur until we found ourselves carrying a very heavy trophy home on the tube and getting some very odd looks.
“I think the judges were impressed by how we turned the shop around following the fire a few years ago and by how we try to make the most of the coffee shop and garden to add to the experience for customers.
