An inquest has been opened this week into the death of a man who was found hanged in a Berkeley hotel room.

David Cameron, 49, of Pinegrove, Scotland was in the area for work and was staying in a guest house in Marybrook Street.

He did not appear for breakfast on June 4, prompting concerned staff to go and look for him.

Mr Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem revealed cause of death to be hanging but further toxicological enquiries will be done before the full inquest which is to be held on November 14.
