THE hotly anticipated derby between struggling Stroud and in-form Frocester was abandoned before a ball was bowled in anger.
The West of England Premier Two Glos/Wilts clash had little chance of getting underway after a week of rain had covered the outfield in water.
Frocester came into the postponed match on the back of four straight wins, but Stroud are struggling to adapt to life in Premier Two and are currently winless.
Simon Pizzey captured the action!
