A Cirencester man has stole £10,000 worth of equipment from Cotswold Outdoor.

Nicholas Gregory, aged 25, of Barnsley, Cirencester, was found guilty of the thefts at Swindon Magistrates Court on June 12 and ordered to pay £6,000 in compensation.

Between May 31, 2018, and November 1, 2018, the court heard how Gregory stole electronic items, Garmin watches, Land Rover phones, pairs of shoes and jackets, to the value of approximately £10000 belonging to Cotswold Outdoor at Kemble Business Park.

Gregory was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work for the thefts.

He was also ordered to pay costs of £170.
