Police are appealing for information after a woman was followed home in Stroud.
They were called at 11.30pm on Friday following reports that an old silver Mercedes which had a number plate containing the letters EO had followed a woman home.
The car was originally spotted on Mathews Way when the driver revved the engine and flashed their lights. The driver then followed the female's car whilst continuing to rev the engine and flash their lights.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "We do not know the motive of this and although the female was not hurt she was left very shaken by the incident and we want to identify and speak to driver of the car.
"Officers are urging anyone who has information to please call 101 quoting incident 580 of 21 June or email PCSO Lynch on gary.lynch@gloucestershire.police.uk
"Alternatively, you can give information anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
