A park in Yate is up for a national award and needs your help to be voted one of the best in the UK.
Kingsgate Park has always been a favourite in the area and is maintained by members of staff at Yate Town Council along with the hard-working volunteer group the Friends of Kingsgate Park.
The park has been nominated as one of the Fields in Trust Best Parks in the country.
It needs to gather votes to be considered for the top prize.
You can vote for the park by going online at fieldsintrust.org.uk.
Yate Town Council shared the link to vote and encouraged others to get involved and support the park.
Across the UK, 364 spaces have been nominated in the awards.
The park is due to get an outdoor gym over the coming months as a contractor is decided.
