Residents in a Chipping Sodbury development are concerned after a car that has not had an MOT for over a year was unable to removed.
Homeowners on Weavers Way in the Barnhill development have told the Gazette that a Black Citroen Saxo hasn’t moved in over 18 months.
A search on the Government website has found that the car has not received an MOT since 2017, meaning it expired in May last year.
A resident said: “It has been there for a long time and nobody really knows why.
“It was clamped recently and a notice was placed on the windscreen, then it was taken off.
The owner of the vehicle has since contacted the Gazette and revealed that the car failed an MOT test just weeks ago and will be moved on to a driveway when the council adopt the land.
