More than 500 people attended Tetbury's very own annual live music event.

Noasis, a spectacular Oasis tribute band headlined this year's Tetfest which took place on Saturday at Worwell Field on Cirencester Road.

Other artists who performed throughout the day included Durandau Ballet, the Corsairs, Mick O’Toole Band, the Ukey Dukes, Mike Ayliffe, Bones Like That and DJ Moggy.

A spokesman for the event said: "We had 500 people there throughout the course of the day and many of them stayed until the evening for Noasis, so it was a brilliant atmosphere.

"The kids had a ball – the free bouncy castles got absolutely hammered by the children, who loved them.

"The fact that we were able to fence in the whole area and have security on the gate made this incredibly safe – the kids were able to run around and play while parents relaxed and enjoyed the music.

"The Royal Oak in Tetbury did the bar and we had various food stalls including a Hog Roast and a vegan Hogless Roast."

"And we would like to say a special thanks to Geoff Turbot for allowing us to use his field. The location was brilliant and we really hope we can use it again next year."

Thanks to a surge in interest and sponsorship, the event was free to attend with all profits going to Tetbury Hospital and St Marys Primary School.

Tetfest gives bands and musicians from Tetbury and the surrounding area an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a live audience.

Last year’s event raised nearly £1000 for worthy organisations.
