Hundreds of people were at The Ridings Playing Fields enjoying glorious sunshine, drinks, music and food on Saturday.

It was the 24th annual South Cotswold Beer and Music Festival and the crowds were treated to another fantastic event, put together by the Yate and District Rotary Club.

The event is always well supported and this year featured musical performances including a disco revival, The Three Pieces, Planet Boogie and the Natty Daps.

The proceeds from the event go to numerous causes.

A lot of the money that is raised goes to charity and up until July 2018 the Yate Rotary had donated £7,020.44 to local community projects and individuals.

It has also donated £1,275.00 to National charities and £2,691.59 for International support including Polio eradication and disaster relief.

Throughout the time that the festival has been running, the amount raised has gone over £250,000.
