A Stonehouse man has been banned from the road after being caught drink-driving.

Kenneth Gale, 69, of Sherborne Close, was found to be above the legal limit on Perry Way, Frampton-on-Severn, on June 16.

He had 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, above the legal limit of 35. 

Gale pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on July 3.

He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and had to pay £470 in fines and other costs.
