A MUSIC and skate event for young people is taking place in Cam today (Thursday) 1pm to 5pm.
Called Scratch n Skate, this free event is taking place on the Jubilee Playing Fields.
Cam and Dursley Youth Forum are the driving force behind Scratch n Slate, which will feature a variety of music from live band acts, plus DJ-ing and dance. Skate, scooter and BMX competitions will also be held on the park facility.
Alongside these activities there will be: a stand for information, advice and guidance on sexual health from the Eddystone Trust; an escape room experience; and a chance for young people to do graffiti art.
Refreshments will also be available.
The event is presented and supported by Cam and Dursley Youth Forum, Stroud District Youth Council, Stroud District Council, World Jungle, The Door, Cam Parish Council, Dursley Town Council and Gloucestershire County Council.
