A group that helps to support a primary school in Yate has revealed that raised over £16,000 from this year's fundraising events.
The Friends of St Mary's School held events to raise the money including a Christmas Fayre, 5k funrun and the Yate Scarecrow Trail.
The latter will be returning this year from October 26 - November 3.
Sarah Griffiths, Chair of St Mary's friends said: "A huge thank you to everyone from the Friends for the fantastic fund-raising total this year. You are all amazing.
"We have raised just over £16k, which is phenomenal.
"We couldn't do this without the fantastic support, dedication and generosity of everyone."
