A man has been taken to hospital after a crash in Almondsbury.

Fire crews from Avonmouth, Southmead and Thornbury fire stations were called to crash involving two vehicles on Woodhouse Avenue, shortly after 12noon today (August 13).

On arrival, firefighters helped one male casualty in his 70s from his car before he was taken to hospital.

Firefighters remained on scene to make the vehicles safe. Police and ambulance services were also in attendance.
