An appeal has been launched after a bike was stolen in Yate Shopping Centre.

A black Carrera Vengeance with a 22-inch frame was stolen from the bike racks outside of Tesco yesterday, August 13.

It was locked to the rack at the time of the incident.

The Yate, Chipping Sodbury & Wickwar Residents' Handbook posted on Facebook: "The incident was caught on CCTV where at 3.14pm someone was using bolt cutters to take the bike.

"The Police have been informed, but any information or witness statements could be valuable to help identify the individual and locate the bike.

"The frame was marked, and is numbered J80607150H.

"If you have any information, please PM our FB page and we can relay your message to the owner."
