A convicted rapist who absconded from a South Gloucestershire prison on Friday has been arrested.
Daniel Thompson, 34, failed to report for roll call at 4.45pm on Friday at Leyhill Prison.
Thompson had last been seen at 11.45am at the facility, where he was being held for breaching a court order after serving a 10-year sentence for rape.
Avon and Somerset Police have now confirmed that Thompson has been arrested and remains in police custody.
