Bristol Magistrates' Court
A man from Yate has admitted to stealing a Honda from a scrapyard as well as being in possession of cannabis.
Dean Tovey, of Merlin Way in Chipping Sodbury admitted to the charge at Bristol Magistrates' Court on August 6.
The incident occurred at Yate Car Breakers in Dean Road.
The court heard he stole a Honda to the value of £40.
The next day, also in Dean Road, he was in possession of 1.4g of cannabis.
He pleaded guilty to the offences. He was given a three-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £407.
