Ponya the dog has been reunited with its owners after running away when their car was involved in a crash on the M4 yesterday.
The car was involved in a collision with another vehicle and Ponya escaped, clearly startled by the situation, and bolted over the fields by Hambrook.
The incident took place inbetween J19 and J20 on the westbound carriageway on the M4.
Posts on social media were shared hundreds of times and dozens of people offered the owners their help.
The dog is described as a Romanian rescue dog and sometimes nervous around humans.
A post on social media confirmed Ponya had been returned to the owners.
