Earlier this afternoon a crash took place in Yate at the roundabout near the Tesco supermarket.
It is estimated that the collision, with four cars having pulled over to the side of the road, took place at 2.15pm.
The roundabout in question joins Scott Way and Kennedy Way by Tesco.
According to reports, the road now seems to have cleared in the past hour and the road passable.
