Thornbury residents have been warned not to leave valuables in plain sight after a thief smashed a window and made off with a handbag.
The theft took place on Park Road between 8.50 and 9.20pm on September 1.
The owner had left her handbag on the passenger seat while she visited an address.
Thornbury beat manager Paula Manos said residents should not 'keep valuable items on show in your vehicle'.
