A DIGITAL hub in Warrington town centre is helping other workers to improve their skills.
The co-working space Opus by Carpe Diem, based in Palmyra Square, is set to launch a range of interactive talks and sessions at Birchwood Park which aim to improve employment rates through training workers.
Supported by sponsors Yellowbus and Birchwood Park, the campaign kicks off with a series of breakfast sessions covering a variety of digital topics in the Engine Rooms at the park.
These will be 30 minute breakfast sessions, from 8am, and are open to all:
- September 17: Prefab lives, Chris Hillidge from FabLab
- September 19: The Pledge, Aimee Ruddy and Stacey Rutter from the LEP
- September 24: Don’t spoil a good story – Darren Jeffries from Ludovico
- September 26: What digital skills shortage? – Stuart Browne from Resulting
- October 1: Are you a digital risk? – Ben Hart from HooAreYoo
- October 3: Jobs that don’t exist yet – Paul Chisnall from CreativeHUT
