The people of Cirencester are in favour of another referendum but don't want to see an early general election, according to a Brexitometer.
On Saturday morning, Cotswolds4europe sat on Cricklade Street and canvassed over 100 people asking a variety of questions from proroguing Parliament to holding a second referendum.
According to the group, when asked 'was Boris Johnson right to prorogue Parliament given the current national crisis', the overwhelming majority of shoppers voted no.

The group then asked 'was MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown right to support prorogation and vote against the bill preventing a no deal Brexit?'
Once again the overwhelming majority of shoppers voted no.
The majority of those who took the survey then voted no when asked 'should we have an early general election?'
Next, people were asked 'should we have another referendum with the option to Remain?'
The closest vote of all saw a slight majority of people in favour of another referendum with the option to Remain.
The final question people were asked was 'if we do have a referendum/general election, are you registered to vote?
Most people said they were registered.
