HUNDREDS of families went on a bear hunt in Bussage to raise money for the village school.
Children and parents searched high and low in the Bussage Bear Hunt on Saturday and Sunday, raising £4,200 for Bussage Primary School.
Hunters tracked down 35 bears and bear scenes through Frithwood and the village following maps, before returning to the school for homemade cakes and refreshments.
Bear scenes included ‘Star Roars’, ‘Fur-mula 1’, 'Extinction Re-bear-llion' 'Roar-y McIllroy' and ‘Teddy Mercury’, to name but a few.
All of the completed maps received over the two days were entered into a prize draw to win a family ticket to Sudeley Castle's Spectacle of Light.
The Bear Hunt committee thanked all the sponsors, volunteers and everyone who came along.
