A burst water main left houses in parts of South Gloucestershire without water this morning.
The main is in the Rudgeway area, with homes in Itchington and Earthcott Green also affected.
A spokeswoman for Bristol Water confirmed that crews had starting working on the repair and the majority of properties now had water again.
"They're working as hard as they can to complete the repair and get the remaining people back in water," they said.
