RECORD crowds packed the streets of Saltaire at the weekend as this year’s Saltaire Festival finished on a high.
Members of the public thronged to to the Continental Street Market featuring food, drink and goods from across the globe.
And they were entertained by a variety of bands and musicians with buskers on the bandstand and a top line-up of artists on the main stage in Roberts Park.
Other events included the Saltaire Vintage Home and Fashion Fair, the Craft Market, exhibitions right across the village and a festival after-party.
Ros Garside, events co-ordinator, said: “It’s been brilliant, really busy with a lovely atmosphere.
“We’ve had positive feedback too.”
She said they had seen record numbers on Saturday because of the great weather but there were still lots of people at the events on Sunday despite the rain.
As to her highlights she said: “The music was superb, there were lots of great market stalls and excellent exhibitons.”
