SOUND artist Anna Wright, from Nailsworth, has won an Emmy award for her work on the Sky/HBO hit series Chernobyl.
Now living in London, Anna grew up in Nailsworth and her family are still based there.
Anna, who’s credits include The Crown and Peaky Blinders, works as a foley artist at Boom Post production.
Foley artists reproduce everyday sound effects that are then added to films, videos, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality.
Anna headed to Los Angeles with her colleagues at Boom Post to collect the coveted trophy at the 71st anniversary of the annual Primetime Emmy Awards which celebrate excellence in the television industry.
Stuart Hilliker, co-owner of Boom Post, said: “I am hugely proud of what Anna and the team have achieved."
Anna’s next project is the Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones film, “The Aeronauts” due for release in November.
