A man has been seriously injured, while a couple had to be cut free from a motorhome following a crash yesterday.
The incident occurred on the A433 Bath Road just west of the village of Willesley on the Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire borders at around 5pm yesterday.
It involved a red Land Rover Freelander which was travelling towards Tetbury and a white Fiat Ducato motorhome which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Freelander, a man aged in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital by the ambulance service.
A couple travelling in the motorhome were cut free by Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and were then taken to a hospital in Bath where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The road remained closed until 11.30pm.
Police are now appealing for witnesses who saw the collision or either vehicle shortly before.
They are also appealing for anyone who had been in the area of Willesley around that time and may have dash-cam footage.
Anyone with information should call 101 and reference incident 279 of September 29.
