A man who crashed on a 'dangerous' Dursley road spent days in hospital after breaking his arm in four places.
The driver, who does not wish to be named, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital following the crash on Lister Street on Friday, September 20.
He remained there until the following Tuesday having broken his arm in four places and dislocated his wrist.
Following the crash, between a Toyota bin collection truck and an Audi, residents have called for double yellow lines to be introduced to stop cars parking on both sides of the road.
The Toyota driver, who called the crash a 'shock to the system' echoed these calls.
"That junction is awful. You have got no visibility.
"Cars are parked nose to tail all over that junction
"It shuts the road down to a single lane. It's dangerous," he said.
