A 32-year-old Yate man has been jailed for 12 weeks after being found guilty of drink-driving.
Mitchell Palmer, of Parnall Crescent in Yate, pleaded not guilty to the charge in Bristol Magistrates' Court on October.
He was charged with failing to stop following a collision on Longs Drive in Yate involving two other vehicles whilst drunk on June 23.
He pleaded guilty to the charge of failing to stop, but disputed the charge of having 77 microgrammes per 100 millimetres in his breath.
He was jailed for 12 weeks because it was his fourth offence of drink-driving in just over 10 years.
He was also ordered to pay £200.
