A 31-year-old man has been jailed for six years being found guilty of sexual assault.
Daniel Lord, 31 of Greenhill Court, Tuffley Gloucester was found guilty after a four day trial at Gloucester Crown Court.
The case related to an incident of sexual assault in Gloucester in September 2017.
Lord, a former pupil at Rednock School in Dursley, will now be on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
Detective Sergeant Samuel Moore from the Cotswolds Local Investigation Team said: "This offence took place in the victim’s home when she was asleep and I hope that this verdict will encourage other victims of serious sexual offences to report these offences to us.
"Gloucestershire Constabulary are committed to supporting victims of sexual offences and bringing offenders of these acts to justice."
