Students at Chipping Sodbury School were treated to a special performance from alternative band THE HARA.
The band visited the school to deliver an exciting performance for students and also to discuss important issues including mental health.
They played in assemblies to all year groups leading up to the Sixth Form and spoke about a lot of issues.
They also covered the issue of being safe online.
The band is made up of frontman Josh Taylor, guitarist Zack Breen and drummer Jack Kennedy and they formed the group in 2017.
The group also encouraged our students to seek support and help from friends, family, and school staff during challenging times.
A spokesperson at the school said: “Not only did our students love the performances, but they also felt inspired by their motivational advice, notably ‘you are infinitely better placed than anyone else to be you.’
“We wish the band every success in their up and coming tour and I am sure many of our students will support them when they next play in Bristol.”
