A 34-year-old man from Yate has admitted to causing £1579.91 worth of damage to a car.
Dillbagh Singh, of Cranham, damaged a blue BMW 3 Series in Easton.
The incident took place on August 13 this year.
He pleaded guilty to the charge at Bristol Magistrates' Court.
Singh was ordered to pay £1000 in compensation and also to carry out 40 hours unpaid work by October 7, 2020.
