A WOMAN from Yate has been fined £315 and banned from driving in court after admitting to taking someone else's car and driving it around Yate without the correct license.

Sara Drew, 35 of Blaisdon, pleaded guilty to taking a Hyundai Tucson without the permission of the owner and driving without the correct license and insurance at Bristol Magistrates' Court.

She pleaded in court on October 21.

The incident took place on October 16 in Lansdown on St Briavel's Drive.

Drew was fined £140 and ordered to pay victim services charges of £90 and £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

She was also banned from driving for 6 months.
