A Dursley man was given a suspended sentence after admitting to carrying a bill hook in a public place.
Lee Handley, 43, of Fourth Avenue, received a 26-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 1, after pleading guilty.
The court heard how Handley had a bill hook in his possession without good reason when he visited the Shell Garage in Cam, on April 10 this year.
Handley was also ordered to pay costs of £265.
