A 59-year-old man has admitted to drink driving in Yate whilst nearly twice the legal limit.
Paul Richardson, of Bertha's Field in Badminton, was caught on October 9 on Kennedy Way in Yate.
Richardson pleaded guilty to breathing 66 microgrammes per 100 millimetres of breath.
He pleaded guilty at Bristol Magistrates' Court on October 25.
He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Richardson was also banned from holding a driving license for 20 months.
