A planning application for 29 dwellings in Wotton-under-Edge has been received by South Gloucestershire Council.

An application was received by the council on October 16 and relates to land to the west of Stowell Hill Road.

It is believed that the developer purchased the site with outline planning permission for 29 homes in September 2018.

Plans show there will be 29 dwellings, including two, three, four and five bedroom properties along with 91 parking spaces.

Planning professionals Stokes Morgan are taking care of the application for the developer, and they have confirmed that 10 homes will be affordable.

In their covering letter, the company said: "The proposals for consideration broadly follow the consented master plan and utilise the same access and movement principles, layout arrangements and dedicated open space provision found in the extant planning permission."
