A BRAND new pop-up shop is coming to Yate over the coming weeks.

Apollo Massage Therapy is opening a temporary shop in Yate Shopping Centre for the next couple of months to promote its name and services.

As from the end of November, Apollo which is owned Chloe Creed, a former health care worker, will be operating out of 18 North Walk where it will be offering sports massage therapy and first aid training.

Andrew Lowrey, Yate Shopping Centre Manager was full of support for Chloe and the venture.

"I met Chloe at a recent Sodbury & Yate Business Association meeting where she approached me about use of a vacant unit to help her business," he said.

"We are always willing to help local businesses and organisations if possible whether it is promoting their business or the services they offer.”

Chloe Creed: “I currently operate a mobile service visiting homes or workplaces specialising in sports, pregnancy and cancer massage but I want to increase the general awareness of my services.

“One of the key messages I am trying to get over is that sports massage is not just for active sports people but can be used to address many day-to-day health issues.

"It can be far more beneficial than many people appreciate.

“In addition, from my previous experience, I will be offering either onsite or offsite first aid training to businesses and organisations.”

The shop will be open next to Boots and CEX on North Walk from the end of this month.

Yate Shopping Centre's Christmas lights will be getting officially turned on this Saturday, November 16 at around 4pm.
