A learner driver has been fined more than £1,000 after he was caught driving whilst uninsured.
Warren Stephens, 23, of Chastleton, Moreton-in-Marsh, was found guilty of two offences at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on November 6.
Stephens drove his BMW on Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham, on June 5, but was found to have only a provisional licence and no insurance.
He was not supervised by a qualified driver and the vehicle also failed to display learner plates.
Stephens was handed eight penalty points on his licence and ordered to pay costs of £1,031.
