A homeless man was kicked several times in the centre of Cirencester last week.
Police were called to Market Place shortly after 7.10pm on Friday evening following reports that a homeless man had been assaulted.
It was reported that the victim was approached by a man who was verbally abusive and then went on to kick him several times.
The offender was described as being a white man who was 6ft tall, in his 40s and had a beard with receding hair.
He was wearing grey jogging bottoms, brown shoes, a dark coloured jacket and was carrying a sports direct shopping bag.
Anyone who was in the area or witnessed this taking place is asked to call 101 quoting incident 412 of November 15.
