A 27-year-old has been given a sentence of six weeks after assaulting a prison officer in Eastwood Park Women's Prison.
Charlotte McCollin, 27, was charged with assaulting a female officer acting in the exercise of her functions as a worker on December 12 last year.
The offence was deemed so serious because McCollin bit the officer and drew blood.
She was also ordered to pay £115 of victim services charges.
