Police have issued an appeal after an assault in a popular Bristol nightclub left a man with serious injuries.
The incident took place earlier this month in Pryzm, when a man was hospitalised with serious facial injuries following an assault.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We’re appealing for witnesses following an assault in a Bristol nightclub which left a man with serious facial injuries.
"A man in his 20s had visited Pryzm nightclub, Canons Road, at about 1am on Saturday 9 November.
"While on the crowded RnB room dancefloor at about 2am another man – for no apparent reason – head-butted the victim in the face.
"He was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a jaw which was broken in two places.
"The suspect is described as a white man, around 6ft tall, stocky in build but not muscular with brown hair short on the back and sides, aged between 25-30 years.
"We would like to hear from anyone who was in the RnB room that morning who may have seen the incident.
"Anyone able to help is asked to contact us quoting reference 5219259491."
