A shop in Yate is expected to close later this year after the chain went in to administration last month.
Around 2,900 members of staff at Bonmarche stores across the country were at risk of losing their jobs.
The decision was made after an extended period of struggling trading periods.
It was the second time the business had fallen into administration in seven years, after it was previously bought in a rescue deal by private equity firm Sun European Partners in 2012.
