PANTO fun is coming to Slimbridge this December.

Slimbridge Variety Showgroup is set to stage its very own pantomime production of Treasure Island.

This particular version of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic, subtitled Long John Silver returns, was written by Steve Tilley - a long-standing parishioner and parish councillor.

The production will be staged at Slimbridge village hall from Thursday, December 5 to Saturday, December 7, when there will be a matinee and evening performance.

Join the troupe on a panto adventure of discovery, spells, naughty squirrels, cheese baking mayhem, magic and wonder.

Tickets, at £8 for adults and £5 for children, are available from Slimbridge Post office or via the box office (07518 710764).
