YouGov polls have indicated that Thornbury and Yate is likely to be won by the Conservatives.
YouGov’s official 2019 General Election MRP model was released last night and it had the Tories down as 'likely' to win the constituency.
Conservative Luke Hall has been MP in the area since winning in 2015 but he faces Liberal Democrat Claire Young and Rob Logan of Labour.
The site has predicted that Mr Hall will win around 52% of the vote in the area, with the Lib Dem's expected to win 40% and Labour with 8%.
The new YouGov poll suggested the Conservatives would get a 68-seat majority, if the election was held tomorrow.
