Forest Green will be away to Championship outfit Cardiff City in the third round of the FA Cup – should they overcome next week’s replay against Carlisle United.
Cardiff, who have taken seven points from nine since Neil Harris took over from Neil Warnock, moved up to 10th, with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
BBC sports presenter Mark Chapman hosted the draw with the balls picked by former Man City defender Micah Richards and Arsenal and England legend Tony Adams, who captained the Gunners to two FA Cups and now lives in Coates, near Cirencester.
The third round is scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, January 4 with fixtures taking place between Friday and Monday.
Matches will be broadcast by the BBC and BT Sport across the weekend.
