A fitness class that aims to improve strength and conditioning for older adults is coming to Yate.
Elderfit already has numerous classes across the region, with another session in Thornbury starting earlier this year with great success.
The aim is to help provide elderly people with strength and balance in the hope of preventing any injuries in their lives.
It is an award winning company and will be running sessions at Ridgewood Community Centre.
Organiser Tom Scaife said: “Our classes are very different to others, we aim to reduce the risk of falling and increasing independence.” and we use agility ladders, kettle bells, hurdles, suspension cables.
“It sounds a bit crazy but we have 600 people a week attending in Cardiff and the vale so they must enjoy it.”
