Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown has been ranked bottom of a list of MPs based on their openness and responsiveness to their constituents.

Clifton-Brown, who has represented The Cotswolds since the constituency's creation in 1997, finished 650th on change.org's people-power index.

He currently has a majority of more than 25,000 and is standing for election against Alan MacKenzie (Labour), Sabrina Poole (Green), and Liz Webster (Lib Dems).

The index evaluated every MP from the last Parliament on their availability to their constituents, participation in Parliament and how they listen to the public.

Change.org said the the People-Power Index 'should be viewed as a health check of how Parliament is working and how our MPs are listening to, and engaging with, their constituents.'

How our local MPs fared:

29 - Luke Hall (Thornbury and Yate)

46 - David Drew (Stroud)

122 - James Gray (North Wiltshire)

173 - Jack Lopresti (Filton and Bradley Stoke)

650 - Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown (The Cotswolds)
