The family of Lee Belgium gathered at his graveside to celebrate what would have been his ninth birthday.
Lee passed away in April following a battle with leukaemia.
Mum Clare released a dove at Westerleigh Crematorium to mark the occasion, while balloons and flowers were left next to the headstone.
She said: “Lee is nine now and I know how much he loves a party.”
Following his death Clare set up Lee Belgium Lasting Legacy.
This Christmas the charity will be giving away a day trip of a poorly child’s choice.
To nominate a child visit the Lee Belgium Lasting Legacy Facebook page.
