A pub in Charfield is looking to lighten the mood on election night by welcoming people to have a drink under an interesting theme.
The Plough Inn, on Wotton Road, falls in the Thornbury and Yate constituency and the Landlord Steve Golding wants to help share some joy on what he says has been a gloomy couple of weeks in UK politics.
Different beverages have been assigned the Lib Dems, Labour, Tories and the Greens.
"I think it is just a nice thing to do to try and make light of the situation a little bit," Steve said.
"People are allowed to vote for the beer that they like most, by buying a pint.
"The barrel that goes first wins the election so we might get a different result."
