MAGISTRATES have banned a 35-year-old man from getting behind the wheel after he was caught drink driving.
Daniel Hyatt, 35, of Wharfdale Way, Stonehouse, admitted driving with excess alcohol when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on December 3.
He was stopped in his car on Westward Road, Stroud, on June 21 this year, and found to be unfit to drive through consumption of alcohol.
He was also found to have no licence or insurance.
The defendant was ordered to undergo treatment for alcohol dependency and he was banned from driving from 18 months.
He was also told to pay a £50 fine, a victim surcharge of £90, plus Crown Prosecution Service costs of £300.
